Hemingway Park

Hemingway Park in Carson, CA brings 8 lighted, fenced outdoor pickleball courts to the public at 700 E. Gardena Bl, with open play available Monday through Sunday starting at 8:00 AM. The courts are currently taped on tennis courts, though city council has approved a full conversion to 8 permanent pickleball courts, with work beginning soon. Open play is structured around morning sessions on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, plus a Thursday evening session from 5:00–9:00 PM. Players note that courts are strictly divided by skill level — beginner, intermediate, and advanced — making it easy to find competitive matches at the right level. Lessons are also available on-site.
