Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-12
This is a plain-language draft. Have a lawyer or terms generator (Termly, Iubenda) review before going live with AdSense or paid features. By using the site you agree to these terms in their current form.
What you can do here
You can use How To, Boomer! to:
- Run the communication tools (Tone Analyzer, Tone Adjuster, Shame Detector, Response Generator, Translator) on text you wrote or have permission to use.
- Browse the pickleball locations directory and submit corrections.
- Read the blog, FAQs, and other editorial content.
What you can't do here
- Anything illegal under US law.
- Scrape or bulk-download the location directory for commercial redistribution. (Individual queries are fine — that's the point of the site.)
- Submit messages to the tools that contain unlawful content, threats, harassment, or that you don't have permission to process.
- Try to break the site, abuse the AI tools to generate prohibited content, or attempt to extract our prompts.
About the AI tools
The communication tools use a mix of modern AI models to analyze and generate text. Results are algorithmic suggestions, not professional advice. Don't use them as a substitute for legal, medical, or therapeutic counsel. Human relationships are complicated; the tools are here to help you think, not to think for you.
About the directory
We do our best to keep the pickleball locations accurate, but information changes. Always confirm hours, fees, and access details with the location directly before driving across town. We're not liable for trips wasted, missed sessions, or any consequence of out-of-date data.
Accounts (when applicable)
If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your password secure. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for abuse.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We try to keep it running smoothly but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect accuracy, or specific outcomes from the tools.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. If you've paid us money (you haven't — the site is free), our liability would be capped at what you paid.
Changes to these terms
We'll update the "Last updated" date when we change anything substantial. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
