Nelson Field

Located at Jefferson Ave. and Evergreen St. in Iron River, MI, Nelson Field offers free public pickleball on 3 outdoor courts currently rated in good condition. Structured play sessions run Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9–11 AM, Wednesday from 4:30–6:30 PM, and Saturday from 10 AM–12 PM, with equipment provided so newcomers can jump right in. All levels are welcome. When inclement weather strikes, play moves indoors to the Windsor Center—though sessions on July 13, 20, and 27 are canceled outright if it rains.
