Orcas Island - Buck Park

Buck Park brings free public pickleball to Eastsound, WA across four outdoor courts installed in August 2016 on Mt Baker Road. Portable nets are provided through OIPRD, making it easy to get a game going without extra equipment. Play follows a seasonal rhythm: summer and fall sessions run outdoors, while winter shifts indoors to the Orcas Island Middle School Gym at a modest $2 fee. Organized group sessions cater to different skill levels — beginners and players up to 2.5 meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings in summer, while a semi-regular weekday group targets 3.0-and-above players on the outdoor courts.
